The bus
- 80 such vehicles were introduced between 1957 and 1962. This batch differed
from the previous 10 vehicles delivered in 1955/56, which had exposed radiators,
in as much as they featured a "Birmingham" style radiator cowling. As half-cabs,
they proved unsuitable for conversion to Driver Only Operation (DOO), and
all were withdrawn from passenger duties by 1973. Some vehicles found themselves
converted to service vehicles. |
