The model - this model is one of three China Motor Bus Leyland Olympians announced by Model 1 on 3rd January 2020 and released on 27th November 2020. The others feature LA6 on route 312 (63517) and LA17 on route 307 (63519).

The bus - The LA class were delivered to China Motor Bus in two batches, the first (LA1-LA5) arrived between October and December 1991 with LA6-LA25 arriving between July and November 1992.
