- this is one of two Leyland Olympians announced by Kowloon Motor Bus
on 21st March 2026 and released on 24th. The second features 3BL129 on
route 98D (KMB2026006).
The bus
- Kowloon Motor Bus introduced 163 three-axle
12-metre non air-conditioned Leyland Olympians into its fleet between
1982 and 1986 to meet increasing passenger demand at that time. With a
capacity of 150 passengers these buses were designed with three doors
to ease boarding and alighting. These buses were mainly allocated to
routes with high demand such as routes 5, 6, 26, 98D, 102 and 104. 3BL108 was first registered on 23rd January 1986 and was retired on 9th January 2002. |
