The model
- This model was available to pre-order exclusively at 7-Eleven
stores in July 2022 and it became available to collect from 15th
November 2022. It features some differences from earlier releases of
this model in that it has additional driving mirrors, instructors seats
and reduced seating in both the lower and upper decks. I am grateful to
West Dan for sending me the superb selection of photographs, all of
which are 'clickable'.
The bus -
Before becoming a driver training vehicle, CD4318 was allocated
the fleet no. G125 and was first registered on 14th February 1980. It
was one of over 500 Leyland Victory Mk 2s to enter with Kowloon Motor
Bus between 1979 and 1983. It became a training bus in February
1993.
