The model
- in June 2018, Model 1 announced plans to release five standard
liveried Citybus MAN NL262/R. The company had, back in
2012, released four resin examples of this bus type.
The five
feature 1502, 1507, 1527, 1532 and 1538 and they were all released on 30th
January 2019.
The bus
- Citybus
purchased sixty of these single-deckers in 1998 and they were allocated
fleet numbers 1501-1560. A further twenty were added in 2000
(1561-1580). The last 11 of the batch were sold in 2004/5 to
New
Lantao Bus, Discovery Bay Transport and one to an operator in New
Zealand. In 2006, 1560-1569 underwent modifications which
included
the removal of the centre exit doors and the fitting of luggage racks,
and emerged in Cityflyer colours, ready for the launch of the new
Cityflyer route A10 from Aberdeen to the airport.
