| The model
- following the release by Buses Model Co. of
their China Motor Bus liveried MCW Metrobus, it was only a matter of
time before a Kowloon Motor Bus example arrived, and this came in the
form of two releases, both featuring the same bus but in different
guises. Both were released on 29th October and this model represents
the bus carrying fleet number M1. As this is not a licensed release, it carries no KMB logos. The bus
- M1 was the first of three prototype 12 metre
MCW "Super" Metrobuses ordered by KMB for evaluation, arriving in Hong
Kong in May 1981. It was later renumbered 3M1, the "3" being added to denote
3-axle vehicles.
