- this is one of two Metrobus models announced
by Kowloon Motor Bus on 18th October 2022 and released on 23rd October.
It is believed that the casting is that used previously by P&T
Diecast. The second release features M1 (CZ746) on route 30 to Jordan Road Ferry (KMB2021028).
The bus
- Kowloon Motor Bus ordered a total of eighty-eight 9.7 metre MCW
Metrobuses
between 1983 and 1988. The final
eight,
M81-M88, were delivered in November 1989, and were fitted with the more
powerful Cummins L10 engine, producing 280bhp, enabling them to be used
on Route 51, KMB's most difficult route.
