| The model
- This is one of three 11-metre MCW Metrobus
models announced on 8th August 2024 and released on the same
day. The others feature S3M8 (DL4182) on route 7 to Lok Fu (KMB2024012)
and S3M30 (DL7119) on route 52M to Tseng Choi Street (KMB2024014).
The bus - Following the evaluation of the three 12 metre Metrobuses in 1981, KMB decided to opt for the shorter 11 metre version and orders were placed for 254 such buses. The first arrived in May 1986 and the last in May 1990. |
