The model
- carrying Caltex advertising, the glazing of the side windows has been
modified to correctly represent the prototype.
The
model comes in the standard green 'Hong Kong Wonders' box and the
limited edition certificate is credit
card
size with a photograph
of the actual vehicle in Caltex livery on one side. A postcard is also
included with a photograph of the bus on one side along with two
spare tyres, a bus stop, spare rear light clusters and two driving
mirrors.
The bus
- the China Motor Bus 'DA' class entered service between 1990 and 1997.
It consists of 92 vehicles, with DA1-DA56 featuring small top sliding windows,
similar to UK vehicles, the windows being rubber mounted. DA57-82 have
no opening windows, these still being rubber mounted, whilst the final
batch, DA83-DA92, have bonded glazing. DA76 entered service in February
1997. |
