The model - this is one of several Citybus liveried Jonckheere bodied Volvo B12s released by Brilliant Buses (aka B&B) in September 2024.  It is an unlicensed model and only a small number of each variation were actually issued owing to licensing problems.

I am grateful to Simon Lee for allowing me to share his excellent photographs of his model. The first, pictured above, shows the model
with a backdrop of the Huang Gang Port of Shenzhen, the border crossing that connects to Hong Kong Lok Ma Chau Border Control Point.

If you know of any other variants that I have not listed, do please e-mail me.

* - assumed model number

The bus -  Citybus registered five Jonckheere Monaco bodied Volvo B12 coaches on 29th March 1996, allocating them the fleet numbers 2001-2005. They were originally destined for a Japanese operator, but the sale fell through and Volvo offered them to Citybus for a reduced price. They were used to operate cross-border services from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, Dongguan and Guangzhou.

Further information and photographs of the actual vehicles can be found in the
XTRA section of the site, just follow this link.
