The model - This resin model is believed to be produced by a new manufacturer called "Collector"; no details about the manufacturer are printed on the packaging. After measuring, the model was found to be 1/76 scale although this again is not stated on the packaging. It is clearly not an official KMB release; the body carries no KMB insignia, but a decal sheet is included. I do not believe this model comes with a limited edition certificate.

My thanks to 'Trident ATR1' for kindly providing the above information and photographs.

The busKMB took delivery of 91 long-wheelbase 24 seater Toyota Coasters between 1987 and 1990. They are to the same design as the short-wheelbase Coasters, operating as Public and Private Light Buses in Hong Kong in their thousands. Fitted with air-conditioning, they also feature tinted windows and have an additional steel sheet placed on the roof, with an air gap between it and the actual roof, to help reduce heat intrusion.

The above information has been extracted from Mike Davis's excellent book 'Hong Kong Buses - Volume Two - Kowloon Motor Bus', published by DTS Publishing.
