| The model
- confirmation that a model was to be issued of a new 10.6 metre Scania
single-decker was received on 14th April 2010. On 21st June the model
featured
in the 'Coming Soon' section of the Cars Workshop website. On 11th July
2010 it was confirmed that two versions would be issued on 15th July.
Both
feature ASB1 on route 2C, with this version having a destination of
Tsim
Sha Tsui and the other (92902)
Yau Yat Tsuen.
The bus
- It was reported at the beginning of March 2009 that Kowloon Motor Bus
had placed orders for ten 12 metre and twenty 10.6 metre Scania K230UB
with Salvador Caetano bodywork. The 12 metre examples were allocated
class
type ASC whilst the 10.6 metre examples were allocated class type ASB.
A further ten 12 metre examples were delivered in December 2009.
ASB1 entered
service on 24th May 2009.
