The model - this was an unannounced release, issued on 3th July 2018. It carries 'Japan Ding Ding' all-over advertising.

The bus - It was reported at the beginning of March 2009 that Kowloon Motor Bus had placed an order for twenty 10.6 metre Scania K230UB with Salvador Caetano bodywork. These were delivered between April and June 2009 with ASB16 being first registered on 10th June 2009.
