The
Bitcoin Tram is an initiative of the Hong Kong Bitcoin
community.
Three trams rode up and down Hong Kong Island in September 2020 in full
Bitcoin livery. This model is a scale of 1:76 metal die cast of 11.5cm
in length. It comes in a plexiglass box and can be removed from its
base.
This is a
limited edition model. Only 210 items are made. Each box is numbered.
The following was published on the Bitcoin Hong Kong website on 11th
September 2020.
This
September, you will notice three doubledecker trams (#33, #110, #138)
in full Bitcoin livery cruising east and west on Hong Kong Island. Each
tram carries the Bitcoin logo and lettering on its front and back. The
trams are accompanied by 20 billboards in matching design.
The
educational campaign is an initiative from the Hong Kong Bitcoin
community coordinated by the Bitcoin Association of Hong Kong. The
campaign is financed with donations from the community. |
