The model - this is the first casting of KMB's MCV bodied Volvo B7RLE and was released on 13th April 2013 - the 80th anniversary of the company. 

The bus - In 2009 Kowloon Motor Bus placed an order for 40 MCV bodied Volvo B7RLEs for use on lower capacity routes. These were delivered between January and August 2010. A further batch of 30 similar buses were delivered between December 2011 and May 2012.
