The model Kowloon Motor Bus celebrated it's 87th anniversary on 13th April 2020 and on the 9th April, the Company unveiled this attractive livery to mark the event. At the same time, it was announced that a model would follow. Details of the model were published on 19th April and it was released on 15th May.

The busKowloon Motor Bus introduced it's first Wrights Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8Ls, classified as V6Bxx, in March 2019 and by the end of 2019, the fleet stood at 140 buses. V6B104 was first registered on 26th August 2019.
