The model
- with the real bus receiving the Year of the Snake livery on 28th
December 2012 it was only a matter of time before details of the model
would appear - and this occurred on 3rd January 2013 when photographs
of the model were received from 80M Bus Model Shop. The model is set
for release in Hong Kong on 4th January along with a similar liveried
Alexander Dennis Enviro500 (39416).
A second model similar model was released on 6th June 2013 which features AVWBU242 (DW10513).
The bus -
AVBWU16 is one of two-hundred and ninety Volvo B9TLs with Wrights Gemini 2
bodywork which
entered service between April 2010 and May 2012 being registered on
29th July 2010. It also carried Year of the Dragon livery in 2012. |
