The model - This model, along with an Alexander Dennis Enviro500NG, was released on 21st July 2016, having been announced on 8th April 2016, at Kowloon Motor Bus 83rd anniversary event held at its Kowloon Bay Depot. The company was formed on 13th April 1933 and these two releases carry the B-day decals that include 4 13. In an unusual development, both releases carry KMB's own product codes.

The bus - To mark KMB's 83rd anniversary, several buses received this special livery.
