The model - this is one of two Wrights Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TLs announced by 80M Bus Model Shop in mid July and released on 22nd July 2018. The other features AVBWU518 (KMB2018065).

The bus - Kowloon Motor Bus took delivery of almost 800 such buses between March 2010 and July 2018 (correct to 22nd July 2018) with AVBWU517 being first registered on 10th May 2017.
