The model - this is one of two Enviro500 bodied Volvo B69TLs announced by Kowloon Motor Bus on 30th December 2023 and released the following day. The other features fleet number 701 (KMB2023023).

The bus - 401 was one of ten Enviro500 bodied Volvo B9TLs delivered to Long Win Bus in 2007/2008. It was classified as a coach, the other nine being classified as citybuses. They received fleet numbers 701-709. 401 first registered on 24th July 2007 and was later reclassified as a citybus, receiving the fleet number 710.
