The model
- Confirmation of the release of this model was received on 17th April
2012. It is believed that only members of Bus Fan World and those who
participated in the
Buses Model Co's Facebook competition were eligible to buy this
model, which was released on 9th June. A separate front destination is
provided, showing Kowloon City
(Shing Tak Street), being the other bus terminal of route 5A. My thanks
to Philip Chan and Eric Chan for providing this information.
It
is confirmed that the remaining models will be released for
general sale on 19th June, the 12th anniversary of Buses Model
Co.
The bus
- The arrival in May/June 1995 of this final batch of 30 buses
completed
the order for 500 Leyland Olympians, however, by the time
they arrived,
they were in fact Volvo Olympians. They were the last non
air-conditioned
buses to be delivered to KMB. S3V27 received Buses Model Co. banner
adverts in early March 2012
