 Citybus will celebrate its 45th anniversary on 23rd September 2024. The company began its celebrations on 3rd June by launching this 45th anniversary logo. |

| ADL 'facelift' Enviro500 51611 (WB5921) was unveiled at a ceremony held at Citybus's Chai Wan depot on 13th June 2024. An extract of Citybus's press release today reads :- "Our themed bus will be deployed on Route 5B, running between Hong Kong Stadium/Causeway Bay and Kennedy Town. Route 5B was one of the 26 franchised bus routes under the "Network 26" initiative when Citybus took over from China Motor Bus (CMB) in 1993. After commencing the service, Citybus deployed air-conditioned buses and later extended the service hours until after 2 AM, making it the franchised bus route with the longest service hours in Hong Kong's urban area. The deployment of themed bus to Route 5B symbolizes our round-the-clock service to the public and makes it even more convenient for citizens and tourists to travel". | |
