After the arrival of
these
buses, KMB began registering them in July 2023. They are allocated the
fleet nos. BEDxx, and as at 31st August no less than eleven had been
registered, The allocation of their fleet numbers appears rather
haphazard!
The class
first entered service on 18th September 2023, operating on route 213M
followed by routes 2 and 5D
The following photographs were taken on 24th September 2023. A report
reads "The ride experience is good except the trial on the BED30 on
route213M, the performance of the air conditioning units was
unsatisfactory owing to the hot weather today and especially
when full of passengers."
