The bus was on route no. 961 (Shan King -->Wai Chai Convention Centre ) and was carrying approximately 60 passengers. It was travelling along the West Kowloon Expressway, just before entering Western Harbour Tunnel, when the driver entered the wrong lane to Tsim Sha Tsui. The driver, having realised his mistake, attempted to rectify the situation, but as the speed of the bus was high (about 70-72km/h), and the move was too drastic, the bus hit the concrete block and toppled over. 37 passengers were injured.  The bus is still under repair and not yet returned to service.
