"Hong Kong's favourite 50 year old Peak bus service, New World First Bus Route 15, will don a new livery. We cordially invite you to experience a preview of the new livery. Details are as follow:
Date: Friday 16 July 2004 Time: 1500 hours Venue: NWFB Route 13 bus stop at Star Ferry Pier, Central (near City Hall)"
Unfortunately this launch was postponed, owing to a typhoon in Hong Kong, however the above photographs show fleet no. 3302 carrying the new livery, operating Route 15 on Tuesday 20th July.
New World First Bus operate a fleet of sixty 10.3 metre long Dennis Tridents with low-height Duple Metsec bodywork (4.15 metres in height compared to the standard 4.4 metres). These buses mainly operate on Route 15 to the Peak, which needs to negotiate under Mount Kellett Road bridge. The first batch of forty buses was delivered in late 1999/early 2000 and the second batch of twenty in July-September 2002. They are allocated fleet numbers 3301-3360.
