Four of the eight ex-Cityflyer Kwoon
Chung Dennis Tridents were used on two private hire duties on 24th
January 2014. HU 1416 and
HU 4937 were deployed on a chartered route from Belvedere
Garden in
Tsuen Wan to Kwun Tong Swimming Pool. Only HU 1416 was
spotted on
the return journey during that afternoon. Meanwhile, HU 1057 and HV
7107
were deployed on another chartered service running from Tseung Kwan O
to Pak Tam Chung. Both of them were believed to have only been used in
the morning inbound trip.
All of these
four Kwoon Chung liveried Dennis Tridents are still under Citybus's
non-franchised bus fleet at this stage, as their PSLs have not been
transferred to Kwoon Chung Motors yet. Both of the private hire duties
were handled by Citybus, with Citybus bus captains being deployed on
all of these four Tridents.
Update 25th January 2014 - it is confirmed that the buses used for this
work are still owned and operated by Citybus.
