On
13th November 2023, Alexander Dennis announced that it had received
an order for thirty-five battery-electric Enviro500 double-deck buses
from MTR Corporation.
The first bus was registered in April
2024 and was allocated the fleet number Z01. On 6th June MTR announced
the bus would make its debut on 8th June at 12 noon, operating
route K54 from MTR Siu Hong Station (North) to Wo Tin Estate.
