The modelMSD commissioned this set of two models and it was released on 18th December 2023. One of the models in the set (fleet no. 15190) was released as a single model at the same time (MSD001). The second model features the same bus, but carrying fleet number 690 with a different route number and destination. As these are not Hong Kong models, they are not included in the main site.

The bus - Stagecoach introduced twenty 11-metre Duple Metsec bodied Dennis Dragons into its fleet in Kenya, Africa in 1995/96. Their time in Kenya was short-lived and the batch returned to the UK in 1998, being allocated to the Stagecoach Manchester 'Magic Bus' fleet.

My thanks to regular contributor Donald MacRae for allowing me to share his photograph of 690, which is dated July 2001.
