© Citybus Citybus has, unsurprisingly, announced it will release a model of its Year of the Horse decorated ADL Enviro500 and this was available to pre-order through their e-shop from 5.00pm (HK time) today. As mentioned, the model is on route 1A with a destination of Happy Valley (CM216). No other details are currently known.
© @hktransportnews As mentioned previously, occasionally I come across a photograph that really catches my eye, and today the above photograph did just that! KMB's Year of the Horse decorated Volvo B8L is leading the way with one or two other buses following 🤣.

Kowloon Motor Bus has officially unveiled images of its two Year of the Horse decorated buses, as detailed above. As reported below, the first features part open-top ADL Enviro500NG ATENU726 (TR8167) whilst the second features V6B210 (ZZ6552), an MCV D123 bodied Volvo B8L.
Not to be outdone, Citybus has today unveiled its Year of the Horse decorated bus, which features ADL Enviro500NG 51345 (SN9378). 19th January

| The two Kowloon Motor Bus liveried Seddon Pennine IVs from APEC have now been released. To re-cap, AR7659 is on route 35A to Shek Yam (55920) whilst AR7611 is on route 40 to Kwun Tong Ferry (55921). 17th January

Kowloon Motor Bus has applied 'Year of the Horse' decals to part open-top ADL Enviro500NG ATENU726 (TR8167).
Clearly the photograph I posted earlier this month, and which I have reposted above, has resulted in Cathay Pacific taking note, as today no less that four actual trams have been unveiled, all carrying differing Cathay Pacific liveries 🤣. I hope to be able to feature these in due course.
It is almost five-years since I carried out the last visitor survey, the outcome of which resulted in several updates and modifications to the site. The three Citybus
Weisheit models featuring fleet no. 59100, announced earlier this week,
are set for release in Hong Kong tomorrow (9th).
To recap, the first, which comes with a bus stop and charging point, is on route 20A with a destination of 'Kai Tak (in Chinese) via Cruise Terminal' (CM207). The second is on route 5B to Causeway Bay (CM208) whilst the third is on route 582 with a destination of 'University Station & Sai Sha' (CM209). Each is limited to 800 pieces and they are produced by Tri-FACE. 8th January

© Philip Chan No buses in this photograph I hear you say!!! Today, Cathay Pacific kicked off its “80 Years Together” anniversary celebrations at a special event, officially unveiling a special aircraft livery on one of its long-haul Airbus A350-900, registration B-LRJ.
Again, another photograph with no bus in sight!! With the news that Cathay Pacific will celebrate its 80th anniversary later this year (24th September), I thought I would look out the only model I have that features the company's name. 6th January

| This is the News update that I drafted last night ready to upload this morning........!!!! Welcome to the first News update for 2026. Unfortunately I have no new model news to report, however, I have spent the last few days adding details of twenty previously unrecorded 'commissioned' Hong Kong trams. I am indebted to Stefan König for providing details and photographs of these models, which I have added to a new page entitled 'Commissioned 1/76 scale trams'.
