Just released in Hong Kong is this KMB radio controlled model, a 12-metre MCW Metrobus (3M1 - CN870), on route 112 to So Uk. The scale is believed to be 1/64 and it retails for HK$188.

My thanks to Dennis Wong for sending me some photographs of Citybus Enviro 500 No 8103, which have tonight been added to the Xtra section of the site.

Congratulations also to Donald, who has several photographs published in the January 2008 edition of Buses Magazine.
 

"Star Struck" - a dedicated exhibition for the "Star" Ferry, will be held at Central Star Ferry Pier between 22nd December 2007 and 19th January 2008. This exhibition will be presented by Hong Kong Maritime Museum, The Dragon Garden Charitable Trust, Universal Transport Fans Association and Mr. Alan Cheung. In addition, The "Star" Ferry Company Limited, together with The Incorporated Trustees of the Zoroastrian Charity Funds of Hong Kong, Canton & Macao, will become the major sponsors for this event. The opening ceremony will be held at 1700hrs on Friday 21st December.

Dublin Bus Enviro 500

My thanks to Cathal O'Brien for sending me the above photograph of a new Enviro 500 with Dublin Bus. Fleet No. VT 31 is one of fifty new Enviro 500s ordered by Dublin Bus. It is photographed here in O'Connell Street, Dublin on it's second day in service (or out of service!).

Released in Hong Kong on Saturday 1st December was the KMB Scania/Caetano from Drumwell (DW10801). Limited to 3,000 pieces it is in route 104 to Kennedy Town.  *** UPDATE  10th December *** New photos have just been added.

Pictured above are new Citybus Enviro 500s Nos. 8100 and 8101 (registrations NC7577 and NC 8285respectively). It is believed that these buses have started operating on the routes B3 & B3X. Further photographs have now been added to the Xtra section of the site.
