According to
the Across
website, Kowloon Motor Bus has today registered their Wrights bodied
twin
axle Volvo B9TL (PP 9062) and allocated it the fleet number
AVBWS1.
My thanks to the JRTeam for their efforts in sending me a copy of their Hong Kong Transport Yearbook 2009, which has just arrived - an earlier attempt having gone astray. I will shortly prepare a review which will be published in due course - a quick glance through tonight has taken rather longer than anticipated, which is always a good sign!!

Having returned
to the UK yesterday, I am
still getting used to the change in temperature - last week I was sat
in
shorts and a T-shirt overlooking Discovery Bay in glorious sunshine and
a pleasant 26°C!
First and foremost, I would like to thank all of you that I met during my stay and for the hospitality given to me, which is very much appreciated.
In my absence
the Kowloon Motor Bus Mitsubishi
Fuso Mk117J from Cars Workshop (92703)
was released, along with the two Kowloon Motor Bus Leyland Olympians (92305
and 92306),
also from Cars Workshop, photographs of which will be added shortly.
