Two eye-catching advertising liveries, in my opinion, have recently been applied to a couple of KMB buses. The first promotes 'Galaxy Macau', described as 'the new Palace of Asia' and claiming to be the only truly authentic Asian five-star resort destination in Macau. Opened in May 2011, at an investment of HK$14.9 billion, it includes more than 2,200 rooms, suites and villas across three world-class hotels. Wrights Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TL AVBWU42 is so decorated.

The second has been applied Scania K310UD ASU13 and promotes Samsonite's 'Step Out' campaign.

Former KMB Leyland Olympian AL95 (FD8977) has recently had her skirt panels painted in orange after retirement. Rumours have claimed that the bus will either be used for a forthcoming film shooting, or being converted into an ice-cream vendor. My thanks to Dennis Law for this information.
