Set for release in April is this 11-metre Dennis Dragon from Bus Factory (10319). Featuring S3N176 (DW7419) on route 66 to Tai Hang and will be limited to 388 pieces.

The newest Citybus vehicle is 12-metre Enviro500NG 8380, registered on Friday 21st and noted today at the bus park near Central's Macau Ferry Bus Terminus.
Former Citybus Volvo Olympian 631, now numbered VA68, was noted operating on route 590 today. 23rd

The second of ten former Citybus Volvo Olympians now with New World First Bus, has appeared in its new colours. VA69, former Citybus 629, was spotted on route 904 yesterday.

Yesterday saw the end of an era of sorts in Hong Kong, with the last step entry franchised route single-deck bus being parked up with licence and Octopus equipment removed. This was KMB's Dennis Dart AA48 which featured at the recent HK bus rally and has most recently been a spare bus at Kowloon Bay depot. AA48 as first licensed 15th March 1996 and worked a full turn on route 211 yesterday before being parked up. My thanks to Donald MacRae for providing this report. reported that ten
Citybus 12-metre Volvo Olympians are to be transferred to the New World
First Bus fleet. These are believed to be 621, 622, 623, 624, 626, 637,
629, 631, 633 and 634. The buses will be renumbered VA67 to
VA76
and will carry CTB/NWFB driver recruitment advertisements
instead
of being fully repainted into full NWFB livery. 12th

It is reported that there will be two Citybus 11-metre Leyland Olympian models released in April and May respectively. One is fleet no. 179 and the other is fleet no. 171 in standard livery. It is believed these models have been commissioned by the Hong Kong Transport Society. 8th

Released in Hong Kong today are these two 12-metre Dennis Dragons. Produced by Cars Workshop, 3N151 (92612) is on route 42 to Cheung Ching whilst 3N187 (92613) is on route 101 to Kennedy Town. Each is limited to 800 pieces.

Wrightbus has
received an order for
51 tri-axle double-deck buses built on Volvo Euro 5 chassis from
Citybus and New World First Bus. This new order also marks a
new
partnership between Wrightbus International and Masdef in Malaysia.
Masdef (an abbreviation of Master-Defence) is one of the leading bus
building companys in Malaysia which supplies buses to major interstate
coach operators, government bodies, educational institutions and Rapid
Bus citybuses. 20 are destined for New World First Bus and 30 for Citybus, with one 12.8m evaluation bus for Citybus. All will feature Eclipse Gemini 2 bodywork and assembly is expected in mid 2014 with delivery by January 2015.
The pair of Chinese University Hong Kong (CUHK) Wuzhoulong FDG6102EVG started their service life today with their maiden trip on shuttle service 2 between University Station and United College.
A new Gemilang bodied MAN NL323 for Park Island Transport has recently been delivered and was observed at the dealership today. It is believed at least two buses have been acquired and are expected to enter service by the end of April. 5th

Set for release on Friday 7th March are these two 12-metre Kowloon Motor Bus Dennis Dragons. One is on route 42 to Cheung Ching and the other is on route 101 to Kennedy Town. Fleet numbers are not yet known but quantities are limited to 800 pieces for each.
New World First Bus open-top Dennis Condor DA66, pictured today at the Central Ferry Piers, is set to retire on 11th March.
A line-up of current Citybus bus types, from left to right :- 2700 a 10.6 metre Duple Metsec Dennis Trident; 991 an 11 metre Alexander bodied Volvo Olympian; 693 and 605, 12 metre Alexander bodied Volvo Olympians; 8162 a 12 metre ADL Enviro500 and 8358 a 12 metre ADL Enviro500NG.
