Work has now been completed to include a numerical count of models produced together with a separate column for the vehicle length in the listings for 1/76th scale Hong Kong 'Bus Operators' and 'Model Manufacturers'.

Whilst the column for the vehicle length is self-explanatory, I would just like to clarify the following for the numerical count:-

Hong Kong bus operators - t
he new column is now the first column in each table and the number is shown in red. This provides a quick overview of the total number of models produced for each operator. As these are listed in date released order, new models are added to the foot of the table and the 'count' is simply increased accordingly, thus maintaining a cumulative total.

Model manufacturers - again,
the new column is now the first column in each table and the number is shown in red. This provides a quick overview of the total number of models produced for each manufacturer. Whilst models in these tables are listed by model number, manufacturers adopt differing approaches when allocating model numbers. Some use a particular series for a particular type of vehicle, some use just a sequential series for any type of vehicle whilst others appear to have no logical link! For the manufacturers that have ceased trading, the application of the new 'count' column has been relatively easy, culminating in a final total. For those with small numbers of releases, the application has also been relatively easy. All the manufacturers, with the exception of Model 1, have a 'count' column that culminates in a final total - as Model 1 continue to release models adopting a specific series for each vehicle type, and to make my like easier when new models are added, a 'count' appears for each vehicle type, but for a total count, a table at the foot of the Model 1 page provides a quick overview and a final total.

I hope the above explains these amendments, however, should you have any queries or comments, please e-mail me.  Whether the same 'count' facility is included in the Vehicle Type listing remains a possibility.

The top model is on route 388 (63004) whilst the lower one displays a destination of MAN (63005). Being unlicensed models, they carry no fleetnames or logos.

I am grateful to Ray Ng for pointing out the obvious error in the table I posted yesterday, in which I listed that 208 Discovery Bay models having been issued - this has now been corrected to 15 models!

A new page has just been added for the resin KMB Albion Victor VT23L from AK Classic, which was released yesterday (AK3506).
