MTR Bus placed into service this weekend four 11.3 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500s which it first registered back in March. A new page has just been added to the Xtra section of the site - thanks to Philip Chan and Bobby Liu for providing photographs.

Also available for pre-order is this Tiny 1/110 scale Kowloon Motor Bus Alexander Dennis Enviro500, which features ATE241 (ME9631) on route 28 to Star Ferry (Box 175 / KMB2021079). 18th June

To mark the 500th edition of its magazine, Automobile Magazine Hong Kong has commissioned a special livery and advertising on Citybus 12.8 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500 6321 (UA2892). The livery is the 'Stagecoach' style applied to several buses in the early 2000s. The cover of the first issue along with issue 100, issue 200, issue 300 and issue 400 of the magazine is posted on both sides of the bus. It is also confirmed that there will be a 1/76th scale on route 307 to Sheung Wan and 1/110th scale model on route 307 to Tai Po. 15th June

Details of the above resin model, believed to have been released back in November 2013, have now been added to the site, thanks to Nixon Lo. S3N341 (FZ6737) is on route 680 to Lee On and was produced by P&T Model. It was limited to 320 pieces (B0041B).

Following yesterday's news of a possible 11.3 metre Kowloon Motor Bus ADL 'facelift' Enviro500, the above image is featured on the KMB Shop website.
Long Win Bus continues to place into service new 12.8 metre ADL 'facelift' Enviro500s with twelve being registered this month to-date. UE6X7 (XJ5295) is pictured on route E34B whilst UE6X11 (XJ7677) is on route E34A.

Malaysia has received its first full-electric double-decker bus which will undergo testing & commissioning before entering revenue services. There are only two of these buses being built, for now, the first arriving in April and the other is still being assembled. These buses are owned by Nadi Putra, the bus operator which serves Putrajaya, the administrative capital of Malaysia. They are assembled by Gemilang Bodyworks and built on Scania chassis, however, no other information, either technical or commercial is known yet. Please note the above 'flyer' is aimed at the company's staff and therefore the prices show staff prices alongside the recommended retail price. Details of these models will follow shortly. All are products of Model 1.

I am reliably informed that the Tiny 1/76 scale Kowloon Motor Bus Depot has now been released (Bd5 / KMB2020084).
My thanks to Andrew Morgan for clarifying the fleet/registration number on the Tiny 1/110 scale 'The Samaritans' liveried Kowloon Motor Bus Mercedes-Benz O305 (KMB2020106). The registration number on the model reads DF9520, which is correct for ME19, the actual bus that carried this livery, however the model has an incorrect fleet number of ME5. 9th June 2021

As reported back in January, Tiny are to re-issue their 1/76 scale Kowloon Motor Bus Depot, albeit with a modified KMB logo (Bd5 / KMB2020084). Its release is expected shortly.
The above 1/120 scale Kowloon Motor Bus MAN A95 has appeared on a Chinese online shopping site. It features AMNE1 (TP1095) on route 52X with a destination of Tuen Mun Central. 8th June 2021

As detailed below, here is Tiny's second version of a New World First Bus liveried Wrights Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8L 5230 (WN2615) with a destination of 'On Test' (Box L27 / ATC65192). Being an unlicensed product, it carries no fleetnames or logos.
A full set of photographs of the recently released New World First Bus liveried Neoplan Centroliner 6018 from NP Model has been received and these will be added shortly, in the meantime, here is a taster! (XB002).
Today saw the two newly registered Sun Bus Wright Streetdecks, XH3328 and XH7857 serving Ma Wan. Both were observed operating on route NR331 to and from Tsuen Wan Station and Ma Wan. The noticeable differences between these two and the first one, XD8994, is the lack of the roof-mounted solar panels. 5th June 2021

The above is a sample of a 1/120 scale Citybus Wrights Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B8L from Model 1. It features 8802 (WP5565) on route 22M with a destination of Cruise Terminal. It is a licensed product and carries a Citybus code of CQ049 and Model 1 code of S33303. It is expected to be released in around two weeks.
