Tiny has released two further examples of its 1/76 scale Toyota Coaster BZB70R public light bus. The first is this cream and red example featuring UZ5570. Previous releases of this colour Coaster have been numbered as Box 183, and Tiny has still referred to this number in its announcement, but the model actually comes in a new Box number series, PTV04 (ATC66114), as shown above.

I can only guess at what the abbreviation PTV stands for, so confirmation would be welcome.

The green and cream example features MC3475 and is on route 409. Previous releases of this colour Coaster have been numbered as Box 180, and again Tiny has referred to this number in its announcement, but I believe this version carries the Box number PTV08 Tiny 08.

New pages will be added in due course.

And finally, not forgetting the 70th anniversary of the Routemaster

My thanks to Keith Wood for sending me a couple of photographs from his recent visit to Las Vegas together with the following summary.

Since his last visit in 2019, it appears that the original Enviro500's have all been replaced by a new fleet. Apparently, a fleet of 40 new buses were delivered in 2020. They sport a new livery - the original gold with blue skirt colour scheme has given way to a more sombre grey/black combo as seen in the above photographs. All other buses in Vegas retain the gold/blue livery. Unlike his previous visit when all the buses on the Deuce were in advertising liveries, there were a few running around in the "new" fleet livery.

There are detail differences between those latest batch of buses and the buses they replace, such as small windows on the staircase panels and a number of lights on the nearside that illuminate when the bus stops and opens its doors. Otherwise they appear to be like for like replacements with twin staircases and an overall length of 12.8m.

Keith's Flickr site can be found by following this link and his Las Vegas album can be viewed here.

My thanks to Cheow Yi Jian for advising me that Tiny has introduced a new numbering series for, I believe, some of its bus models. The first models to carry this new numbering are two China Motor Bus Duple Metsec bodied Leyland Victory Mk2s. They are both numbered BUS01 and carry Tiny product codes of ATC65759-T and ATC65759-W. Both have now been listed in a new Tiny page.
