The model - ABC's first Short Fleetline (SF) was released on 9th May 2000 and carries standard China Motor Bus livery. The model represents the prototype post 1983, as the registration number is the newer black on white reflective type with black on yellow at the rear. The model features poseable wheels with opening side and rear engine covers. Wing mirrors are provided for the owner to fit.

The bus - in 1978 China Motor Bus announced that the final 30 chassis of an order of 70 Long Fleetlines had been changed to 31ft vehicles. Alexander bodies similar to those fitted to the LF class were used, the most recognisable difference being the SF had a half width rearmost nearside window whilst the LF had a full width. This would allow them to be used on routes 15 to The Peak and 6 to Stanley, where road conditions required shorter vehicles. SF3 entered service in November 1979.
