The model - announced in February 2000, this EFE model was released in Hong Kong on 18th April 2000. The model was offered to subscribers of the EFE Newsletter in August 2000.

The bus - This bus was formerly DMS 557 in the London Transport fleet, being new in 1973, and was an additional purchase for CMB's driver training fleet. Being acquired solely for driver training, the vehicle retained it's original restricted opening windows on the upper deck. It was withdrawn in 1998.
