The model - this model was released in Hong Kong on 28th October 2002. Initially it was believed that the model represented HK4212, however it has since been confirmed (14th August 2004) that the pre-production samples carried this registration, and general release models carried a registration of HK4215. The photographs on this page show both examples. In addition, the general release model also appears to carry legal lettering,

The bus - New in August 1955, HK4215 was one of a batch of ten which were the first to be given all metal bodies built locally from ckd (completely knocked down) kits.

The above information is just a brief extract from Mike Davis's excellent book "Hong Kong Buses - China Motor Bus - 65 years", in which a photograph of the actual bus appears.
