| The model -
The bus - 80 such vehicles were introduced between 1957 and 1962. This batch differed from the previous 10 vehicles delivered in 1955/56, which had exposed radiators, in as much as they featured a "Birmingham" style radiator cowling. As half-cabs, they proved unsuitable for conversion to Driver Only Operation (DOO), and all were withdrawn from passenger duties by 1973. Some vehicles found themselves converted to service vehicles. |
