| In April 2000 four kits of Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) Leyland Victory
Mk2's were issued. These use the same casting as the Collector's Model
Leyland Victory Mk2, although there is no mention of Collector's Model
on the packaging. It is assumed the kits were issued to overcome licensing
problems. The bodies are painted, but unassembled, and are supplied with
waterslide decals, but exclude the KMB logo. Some small items require painting,
such as the mirrors, money box and wheels. In August 2000 further kits,
this time of the Dennis Dragon, were issued.
In August 2005, Creative Master Northcord Ltd announced they were issuing their Alexander ALX500 bodied Volvo Super Olympian in kit form, being in a plain white livery. In June 2009, Best Choose issued a kit of a Daimler Fleetline with Metal Sections bodywork, again in plain white livery. |
