The model - this model was released in Hong Kong in June 1997. It differs from that featured in Corgi's 'The Original Omnibus Company' July - December 1997 catalogue, having additional 10th Anniversary signing on the sides. It correctly represents an 11 metre Olympian.

The bus - in 1987, Kowloon Canton Railway Corporation set up its Bus Division to operate feeder services for its East Rail and Light Rail networks. 222 is a Leyland Olympian with 11 metre Alexander Royale bodywork in the experimental corporate livery. This version carries a special message to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the KCR bus, and the model carrying the same message was only released in Hong Kong.
