one of two Discovery Bay Transit
Hispano Carrocera bodied Mercedes-Benz O405 announced by Model 1 on
25th May 2018, the other features DBAY73 in the later purple/white
livery (see 63142). Both were released in Hong Kong on 12th July 2018.
The bus
- HKR120 was first registered in January 1997. It was one of two
Mercedes-Benz O405 in the fleet to carry Spanish Hispano Carrocera
bodywork, which were unusual in that they had no roof-mounted
air-conditioning pod - the air-con units being incorporated within the
bus body itself. The HKR prefix for the fleet number is derived from
the initials of owners of Discovery Bay, Hong Kong Resort Company.
