| The model
-this is one of two Discovery Bay Transit Hispano Carrocera bodied
Mercedes-Benz O405 announced by Model 1 on 25th May 2018, the other
features HKR120 in an earlier white/green livery (see 63141). Both were released in
Hong Kong on 12th July 2018.
The bus
- DBAY73 was formerly HKR73 and was first registered on 10th August
1998. It was retired in August 2016. It was one of two Mercedes-Benz O405 in
the
fleet to carry Spanish Hispano Carrocera bodywork, which were unusual
in that they had no roof-mounted air-conditioning pod - the air-con
units being incorporated within the bus body itself.
