The model - this model was announced on 14th May 2024 it was released on 22nd May. It carries KMB 91st anniversary decals along with Green is Good lettering.  
   
The bus - the first BYD B12D electric double-deck bus for Kowloon Motor Bus was noted in November 2022. It is one of forty such vehicles ordered by KMB. They first entered service on 18th September 2023. BED23 was first registered 25th October 2023.
