The model - this model was announced on 17th November 2023 and it was available to pre-order on the KMB on-line shop on 20th November. 
   
The bus - the first BYD B12D electric double-deck bus for Kowloon Motor Bus was noted in November 2022. It is one of forty such vehicles ordered by KMB. The first three were registered on 29th August 2023. They first entered service on 18th September 2023. As at 20th November 2023, twenty four had been registered.
