| The model -
details of this model appeared in the March 2009 edition of KMB Today and
it was released on 3rd April. The model comes with a diorama and also features
seated passengers, a driver and conductor. It retails for HK$348.
The bus
- 4962 entered service with Kowloon Motor Bus on 1st May 1949 with a rear
open platform. In 1955 a front entrance was fitted, and tubular sliding
gates were installed to both front and rear entrances/exits. These gates
were replaced with folding doors in 1964/65. 4962 was eventually withdrawn
31 years later, almost to the day, on 2nd May 1980.
