The model - news of this model was announced on 26th June 2013 and it was released in Hong Kong on 16th July. This is the second model to feature the attractive Citybus driver training livery, the first being a Drumwell model issued back in January 2002 and was also the subject of an EFE 'subscriber model' in April the same year (see DW10204).

The bus - The DM class of China Motor Bus (CMB) entered service in 1990 and 1991. It consists of 28 vehicles, all without air-conditioning. The class became part of the NWFB fleet on 1st September 1998 when CMB lost it's franchise. In 2000 DM 9, DM12 and DM25 were sold to Citybus for use as driver training buses.
