The model - this is one of two releases issued on 9th December 2018, the other featuring LX40 on route 23 to Pokfield Road (97003).

The bus - this bus was new to China Motor Bus in February 1967, subsequently receiving fleet no. LW100. It was originally fitted with a Gardner 6LW engine, but in 1972 this was replaced with a Gardner 6LX engine and it was renumbered as LX33.
