The model - this is one of two Mercedes-Benz O305 models announced on 4th January 2019 and released on 16th January. The other carries a plain white livery (CR188005).

The bus - ME5 is one of a batch of 40 production models delivered to Kowloon Motor Bus in 1985. This batch followed the successful trials of ME1, registered in 1983.
